The Sunday Sacristans are a group of volunteer ministers who help prepare the altar and the sacred vessels for Sunday Masses. Working in coordination with the altar servers, the responsibilities include making sure the altar is properly set up for Mass, preparing the celebrant’s chalice, making sure there are enough  hosts in the ciborium for Mass, and replacing the sacred linens after Mass. This rewarding ministry ensures the smooth celebration of the Holy Mass and greatly helps the clergy as they prepare for the liturgy.
