All parents are required to complete a Baptism class before they can participate in the Sacrament. Below is information about our English and Spanish Baptism classes.

Please contact the Parish Office (Alma Ramirez or 703-836-1640 x. 10) to make arrangements to attend a Baptism preparation class in English. Please note that it is possible for expectant parents to attend the preparation class before the birth of their child.

The Spanish Baptism classes are typically the second Wednesday of each month from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. All classes take place in the Parish Center. Please call or email the Parish Office to sign up for a class (Alma Ramirez or 703-836-1640 x. 10).

• Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 6:00 pm
• Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 5:30 pm
• Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 5:30 pm

If you are attending a Spanish Baptism class, Baptism Registration forms will also be available at the class.

To be a Godparent or Sponsor you must:

1. Be at least 16 years old and Confirmed in the Catholic Church
2. Attend Mass every Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation (as well as regularly receive the Sacraments of Penance and Holy Communion)
3. Try to lead a life in harmony with the Faith
